1 loaf unsliced French bread
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese, cubed
8 eggs
2 1/2 c. milk or cream
6 Tbsp. butter, melted
1/4 c. maple syrup

Directions:
Directions:
Cut French bread into cubes (it will be about 12 cups.) Grease a 9 X 13 inch (3 Quart) baking dish. Put one half of the bread cubes in the dish. Add the cream cheese cubes on top. The add the remaining bread cubes.

In a blender or mixing bowl, combine the eggs, milk (cream), melted butter and syrup. Process or beat until mixed. Pour liquid evenly over bread and press down slightly to moisten. Cover with plastic wrap and put into the refrigerator for 2 to 24 hours.

Remove wrap and bake uncovered in a 325º oven for 35 to 40 minutes. The center should be set and the edges should be golden. Let stand 10 minutes prior to serving. Serve with warm syrup (maple or the flavor of your choice).
