1 lb ground beef
1 onion (chopped)
2 cans red kidney beans
1 Lg can crushed tomatoes
3 T mexene chili powder
Pasta (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef with onion, salt and pepper to taste. Drain fat, add red beans, tomatoes and chili powder. Fill pot with water and let simmer several hours ( the longer it simmers the better the taste).
Add salt and pepper to taste, & more chili powder if needed. Let the water simmer down to the consistancy you like. If you like pasta in your chili, add the last 1/2 hour of cooking.
