3 12-oz. rolls of sausage meat
1 one-lb. can red kidney beans, drained
2 c. diced peeled tart apples
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 good-sized onions, sliced
1 c. tomato juice
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chili powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sausage lightly in skillet; pour off fat except a little in which to cook the onion lightly. Mix sausage and all other ingredients in a 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes.
