1 Cup Oil
3 Eggs
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1 Teaspoon Allspice
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Soda
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
2 Cups Plain Flour
1 Cup Buttermilk
1 Cup Prunes, Cooked and Chopped (may use 1/2 dates instead, if desired)
1/2 Cup Jam, if desired
1 Cup Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs and oil well.

Add all the dry ingredients and the milk and mix thoroughly.

Add prunes, nuts and jam (last) and mix well.

Pour into a greased pan or Pyrex dish (large shallow).

Bake at 350 F for 1 hour or until done.
