1 Pound of Dry Navy Beans
2 Packs of Ham Hocks
1 Half Chopped Onions
3 Chopped Garlic Cloves
2 Boxes of Chicken Stock/Broth
1 Tablespoon of Creole Seasoning
1.5 Tablespoon of Salt
1 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
2 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
2 Tablespoon of Butter
Chopped Fresh Parsley
Chopped Bay Leaves

Directions:

Soak beans overnight minimum 8 hours

Next morning, add ham hocks to chicken stock/broth

Add beans after approximately 20 minutes

Saute garlic and other seasonings and spices with olive oil and butter

Add remaining ingredients

Cook for 1.5 to 2 hours

Simmer until tender

My Mother's Navy Beans is one of my favorite meals that she use to make for me thru out my life. She use to serve them with rice, green peas, and slow cooked pork ribs. 😋
