2 T. shortening
2 green onions, diced
3 stalks celery, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1/2 jalapeno pepper
1 T. parsley, finely chopped
1 can tomatoes and okra
1 can tomato paste
1 18 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1 Roma tomatoes, chopped
1 can crab meat
1 lb. shrimp
1 c. cooked ham, diced
1 jar oysters
2 t. sugar
3 c. wter
1 c. chicken stock
cumin to taste
salt & pepper to taste
minced garlic to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a 10-in. pan melt the shortening and add onions, celery, and peppers; cook for 3 minutes.

Add parsley and cook for 2 minutes. Add okra, reduce heat, and cook for 15 minutes.

Pour all pan ingredients into a Dutch oven and add tomato paste and water, stirring frequently.

Add 3 c. water, chicken stock, and tomatoes and cook for 30 minutes.

Add all meats and cook for 20-25 minutes more, stirring frequently.

Serve over hot, buttered rice.
