4 slices Italian bread
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or sliced
1/2 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Butter one side of each slice of bread.
Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on a clean surface.
Divide the cooked chicken evenly between the two slices of bread, then spoon marinara sauce over the chicken.
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the sauce.
Add garlic powder, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
Cook the sandwiches in the preheated skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove from skillet, slice if desired, and serve hot.
