½-1lbs salt meat (pork or beef)
3-5lbs/1 whole chicken (make sure there's thighs if using pieces)
1 sm-med cabbage (chopped small)
5-6 sm-med carrots (sliced or diced)
1 med-lg turnip (small cubes)
1 med onion (diced)
10lbs potatoes (chunked in to larger cubes)
1 cup rice (precooked)
1 serving noodles (spaghetti or ramen noodles broken apart)
2 cans tomato soup

1. Half fill a large pot or boiler with water
2. On high, boil salt meat and chicken for 1 hour
3. Remove meat to cool, remove bones and shred
4. Lower heat to med-high, add cabbage and boil for ½ hour
5. Add shredded meat back into water
6. Add carrot, turnip and onion, boil ½ hour
7. Add potatoes and boil ½ hour
8. Lower heat to med-low and add rice, noodles and tomato soup
9. Boil 15min and check potatoes until done
