Instructions
1. Heat up 3 Tbsp of butter and olive oil together in a wok over medium flame.
2. Sautee chopped garlic rapidly until it gives you a decadent aroma.
3. Put a little white wine into the pot; it helps combine flavors. Nondrinkers can also use some chicken stock instead to enhance the flavor.
4. Now add the shrimps and Cajun seasoning. Stir it all together until well combined.
Shrimps will take 3 to 5 minutes to cook properly, depending on their size.
5. Add cream and 1 more Tbsp of butter to bring out its smooth texture.
6. Mix in salt and ground pepper as per your taste.
7. Put in a little lemon juice to balance out the richness.
8. Stir it and let it simmer for an additional minute.
9. The delicious Cajun shrimp scampi is ready to be served.
10. Garnish it with chopped parsley. Also, sprinkle some parmesan on it if you like.
11. You can add pasta to it or serve crusty bread alongside. It can be a good low-carb meal without pasta and bread if you are on a weight loss journey. Just add in steamed veggies as a side dish.
