1-1/2 pound lean veal for stew
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. oil
1 cup italian tomatoes, chopped
2 tsp. salt
ground pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute' chopped onions in oil and butter until transparent. Add veal and brown on all sides. Add salt, pepper and chopped tomatoes with their juice. Bring to a boil, cover and lower heat to a simmer. Cook until veal is very tender, 1 to 1-1/2 hours
