Directions:
Directions:
Combine all seasonings together and store in an airtight container.

I used one recipe in one pound of ground beef. Recipe can easily be doubled and use more or less to taste. I also like to add ˝ cup of water to the meat and seasonings to make the meat more moist.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Chili powder- Itself a blend of spices
Garlic powder- a good balance and adds a brighter flavor.
Onion powder- this is a subtle onion flavor you will not want to skip even if you are not a fan of onions.
Dried oregano- brings in a spicy but sweet flavoring.
Paprika- has a smokey to add depth of flavor and helps color the taco seasoning.
Ground cumin- “Mexican” flavor that truly distinguishes taco seasoning. has lots of flavor with a little spice.
Salt and Black pepper- an added taste to finish the seasoning it makes a big difference in flavor.
Cayenne: Just a pinch to add heat. Proceed with caution, a lot goes a long way!
Ground coriander — This adds a light, citrus flavor.

Besides the spices, we add two secret ingredients:

Cornstarch — Typical taco seasoning packets include some kind of thickener. This creates a sauce when cooking meats or vegetables. It also helps the seasoning stick to whatever you are cooking.

Dried mushroom powder — I know this seems like it came out of nowhere, but it’s delicious. Trust me
