400g of diced stewing meat
1 diced onion
1 diced carrot
1 sliced leek
2 diced potatoes
2 cloves of garlic
1 can of Guinness
1L of beef stock

Directions:
Directions:
Season the beef with salt & pepper

In a large pan, brown the beef for few minutes on medium-high heat, remove from pan
Add to the pan, the leeks, onion, carrots & potato with a spoonful of butter.
Fry until the onion start to turn transparent
Mince the garlic, add it to the pan and cook for further minute
Pour in the can of Guinness and simmer on medium for 1 min
Add in the beef stock and bring to a simmer

Add a couple a of dashes of Worcestershire sauce, a sprinkle of rosemary and thyme

Cover and simmer for 25 mins
Optionally transfer to slow cooker at this stage and cook on low for an hour
