1 1/4 pounds ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 cup butter
salt and pepper
2 cups diced celery
1 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sliced La Choy water chestnuts
2 cans La Choy bean sprouts drained
1 jar sliced mushrooms drained (4 1/2 ounces)
2 tbsp. chopped pimento

Thickening:
2 tbsp. cold water
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 tbsp. La Choy soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. La Choy brown gravy sauce

Directions:
Cook ground beef and onion in butter until browned. Add salt and pepper, celery and water. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Add remaining vegetables, heat until hot and add thickening sauce and cook until slightly thickened stirring constantly. Serve over hot cooked rice or chow mein noodles
