2 tbsp. Ketchup
2 tsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. yellow mustard
1 large egg
1/4 c. tomato sauce
1/4 c. 1-percent milk
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
kosher salt

1 c. fresh whole-wheat bread crumbs
2 medium carrots
1 clove garlic
1/2 sweet onion (such as Vidalia)
1 1/4 lb. lean ground turkey

Heat oven to 375º F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with nonstick foil. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.
In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, tomato sauce, milk, Worcestershire, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper; stir in the bread crumbs. Add the carrots, garlic, and onion and mix to combine.
Add the turkey and mix just until incorporated. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and shape into a 9- by 3 1/2-inch loaf. Brush the loaf with the ketchup mixture. Bake until the internal temperature registers 160 degrees F, 40 to 45 minutes. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
