3 granny smith apples (or any cooking apple), peeled and sliced, not real thin
2 cans crescent rolls, separated into 16 triangles
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
Mountain Dew

Directions:
Directions:
Place 3-4 apple slices on the large end of a crescent triangle and roll up. Place in lightly greased 9x13 pan. Repeat for each triangle. Mix remaining ingredients. Spread over the rollups. Pour can of Mountain Dew (not diet) over the top. Bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes. Make sure apples are done.

This is a recipe that Nancy gave Karen several years ago. It has become a favorite to take to church dinners, etc. It is always a hit.
