50g butter
2 Cups of milk
½ Cup plain flour

1. Heat the butter in the saucepan

2. Add the flour, stirring quickly to form a paste.

3. Add the milk in, stirring as you heat through to thicken. (You can microwave the milk first to make it quicker)

White sauce is really easy to make and I now prefer to use it when making lasagne than the shop bought jars as the jars always seem to have too much in them and are wasteful as end up getting thrown away. This works just as good and having these basic ingredients can make it handy.
