¼ c butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate ( ½ c chips or squares chopped up)

In small saucepan, heat the butter and condensed milk over medium-low until the butter melts and the milk is warm. Add the chocolate and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat.

Serve as desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 1 - 2 weeks.
This is pretty much the best hot fudge sauce you’ll ever try!
For hot fudge milk shakes, blend with vanilla ice cream and serve with an additional drizzle of hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry. It also makes a quick and easy fondue.
