1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 ½ pounds beef chopped into bite size chunks
1 can stewed tomatoes
4 carrots chopped into ½ inch round pieces
3 large potatoes chopped into ½ inch cubes
1 bundle of celery chopped
1 large onion minced
2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
1 tablespoon dried basil
4 teaspoons salt
3 garlic cloves minced
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 bay leaves
¼ cup flour
¼ cup warm water

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium low heat. Brown stew meat on all sides. drain excess fat. Transfer to slow cooker. Combine all veggies and seasonings and wet and dry ingredients to slow cooker let cook on low about 8 hours or over night low and slow in the slow cooker.
