2 Cups Whipping Cream
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 tsp chicken soup base or 1 tsp broth
2 Tbsp Butter
1 Tbsp Flour
1 Jalapeno pepper, minced
1 Tbsp Jalapeno juice from bottled Jalapeno
1 Ounce Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
1 Ounce Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Heat whipping cream in a heavy saucepan over high heat. Stir in sour cream when it's ready to boil. After sour cream dissolves - reduce to medium heat. Stir in chicken soup base or broth, jalapeno juice. Simmer
Meanwhile make a roux - heating butter & flour. Whisk until mixture turns into a pale gold.

Increase heat on cream mixture until almost boiling then add roux. Whisk briskly & constantly until roux is incorporated. Remove from heat stir in minced jalapeno and cheeses.

Serve with Tortilla chips or as a sauce for dishes.

I have made this with just Monterey Jack cheese as well Also yummy.
December 2019 in San Diego was when I fell in love with this sauce.
