3/4 Cup White Rice
1/4 Cup Thoor Dhal
2 tsp Sambar Powder or MTR Sambar Powder
2 tsp Tamarind Concentrate (Swad Brand), do not use Tamicon.
2 cups cut vegetables (Beans, carrot, peeled potato, edamame, peas, etc.)
1/4 cup cut onion.
Mustar1/2 tsp turmeric
Curry Leaves
Ghee & Oil
Salt to Taste

Use the Instant Pot and set it initially on saute'
Heat oil and add mustard and let it pop
Saute' onion until translucent
Add curry leaves, sambar powder and turmeric and stir well.
Add cut vegetables and stir them all well.
Add rice, dhal, and 4 cups of water and 1 tsp salt & stir them all together.
Change Instant Pot setting to Pressure cooking and timer to 6 minutes.
It will take about 20 minutes for pressure to set, clock countdown to zero. After that turn the power off and let the pressure release naturally. (don't force the pressure release)

Once the pressure is released, take out the vessel, stir them all well and add 1-2 tsp Ghee check salt to taste and serve.
