1 c. margarine
2½ c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
½ c. chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda
3 c. oatmeal
1 c. chocolate chips
24 vanilla caramels

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven to 350°.
In large bowl, beat margarine with mixer for 30 seconds. Add 1 cup flour, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and soda. Beat until combined. Beat in remaining flour. Stir in oatmeal. Press ⅔ (3½ cups) of dough into an ungreased 15x10 baking pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. In medium saucepan, combine caramels and milk. Cook over low heat until caramels are melted. Drizzle caramel mixture over chocolate and nuts. Drop remaining ⅓ of dough mixture by teaspoon over the top. Bake for 25 minutes or until top is light brown. Cool in pan. Cut into bars.
