Recipe for Popovers..
Makes 2 pans. For 1 pan cut recipe in half.
Preheat oven to 400 degees...put cold pans in oven to heat.
I bake on center rack.
For the popovers...
6 eggs
3 cups of whole milk
Whip eggs and milk together then I put in microwave for 45 seconds to bring to room temp.
Add..3 cups all purpose flour ( I use Robin Hood)
1 tsp salt
Carefully remove hot pans from hot oven and spray heavily with PAM.
Pour 1/2 cup batter into each popover cup.
Immediatey put back in oven and the secret is...DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR TO CHECK ON THEM.
Bake for about 40 minutes.
Take them out of the oven and insert a knife to let steam out.
Oh while they are baking.make sure you whip up some honey butter!
