1 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
2 eggs, beat well
1 tsp. vanilla
1¼ cups all purpose flour
2 tbsp. cornstarch
½ tsp. ginger
½ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. allspice
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking soda
2¼ cups rolled oats
1 cup raisins

Directions:

Cream butter and sugars together. Add egg and beat well after each addition. Add cornstarch and remaining ingredients and blend well. Scoop cookies onto cookie sheet. Bake in 375º oven for 10 minutes. Cool cookies on baking tray as cookies will be soft.
