1 cup butter (not margarine)
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups chocolate chips
chopped nuts - 1 cup or a little less

Preheat oven to 350º Line 2 11"x16" cookie sheets with foil. Butter foil. Lay crackers singly to fit pan. Boil butter and sugar exactly 2.5 minutes (start timing after boil begins). Pour over crackers. Bake exactly 5 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over crackers. Let melt. Spread like frosting. Sprinkle with nuts. Cut right away. Cut again when cold.

This recipe was given to me by my friends George and Anne Cusick when I lived in Kodiak. I usually make just half of this recipe and that is enough to satisfy my family of 5-6 people.
