1 cup butter, softened
1 ½ cups sugar, granulated
2 large eggs
2 ¾ cups flour (390g)
2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
2. Add eggs, one at a time, and blend well.
3. Mix, in a separate bowl: flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix well.
5. Mix the 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon in a bag.
6. Shape dough into balls and roll in cinnamon by shaking in a bag.
7. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
8. Bake for 8-16 minutes at 350 degrees (time depends on size).

This recipe comes from Kristin Jacob. They are so amazing. I have considered adding vanilla and/or mixing extra cinnamon into the batter, but they are perfect as stated.
