3 tablespoons melted butter
½ cup molasses
½ cup milk
½ cup bran
1 ½ cups flour
½ tsp soda
¼ tsp each salt, cloves, allspice, nutmeg
1 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, molasses, milk and bran. Sift dry ingredients. Fill greased one qt mold 2/3 full. Cover and steam 3 hours. Serve warm with favorite sauce.
