5 Cups - Flour
1/4 Cup - Sugar
2 Tsp.- Baking Powder
1 Tsp. - Baking Soda
1 Tsp. - Salt
1 Cup - Crisco
1 Yeast cube
2 Tbsp. - Warm water
2 Cups - Buttermilk
1 Stick - Melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together & blend in Crisco. Dissolve yeast in 2 Tbsp. of warm water. Let stand 5 minutes. Add to buttermilk to yeast mixture. Then add to dry ingredients. Mix well

Turn out on board, roll to desired thickness.

Cut biscuits and dip in to melted butter.

Bake at 450 degrees for 12 minutes.
