3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
2 sticks butter
6 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, shortening, and butter. Beat until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time. In separate bowl combine flour and baking soda. Add a small amount of flour at a time alternating with the milk. Add vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325º for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
