Ingredients:  
Cook 1 package of bacon. Drain, reserving 3 Tbs. bacon fat.

Drain 2 large cans of baked beans and pour into a large bowl.
Mix with Sauce recipe.


Baked Bean Sauce:

¾ cup dark brown sugar
¾ cups ketchup
3 Tbs. bacon fat
Simmer ingredients together for 5 minutes.

Add sauce to drained beans. Pour into a lightly oiled casserole dish. Put bacon strips on top of the bean mixture.

Bake at 350 for 2 hours or until beans are brown and mixture is slightly dry.
