½ cup margarine or butter
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
¼ cup sour milk (add 1 teaspoon vinegar to ¼ cup sweet milk)
2 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 bananas crushed
1/3 cup chopped nuts, if desired (or add chocolate chips to batter

Directions:
Directions:
Blend ingredients in bowl, using electric mixer. Place in greased 9 x 5 x 2 ¾ inch loaf pan and bake for about 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Top will crack. Take from oven and let cool about 10 minutes. Then turn out on rack. Delicious!
