1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together thoroughly the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla.
Sift together and stir in the flour and salt.
Mix in the nuts.
Roll into 1 inch balls and chill dough in refrigerator.
Place on ungreased baking sheet (cookies do not spread).
Bake until set, but not brown, at 400º for 10 to 12 minutes.
While still warm, roll in powdered sugar, cool, then roll in sugar again.
