1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
raisins

2 cups boiling water
1 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. each cinnamon and nutmeg (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix brown sugar, baking powder, milk, flour and raisins together and put into a greased baking dish.

In a large bowl add boiling water, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well and pour over batter.

Bake 350ºF for 25 minutes.
