1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 T. Cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
2 T. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
salt

Directions:
Directions:
In ungreased 9"x 9" pan stir together ingredients with a fork & spread evenly.
Sprinkle over batter:
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
Pour 1 3/4 c. hottest tap water over top. (No stirring)
Bake 40 minutes @ 350 º. Let stand 15 minutes, then serve with ice cream.

I love this recipe from Nancy, because you only use the pan you bake in, so no dirty dishes & it's so easy. I've shared this with many people & they can't believe you pour that much water (no stirring it in) and then put it in the oven. It just seems strange, but when it's done you have a fudgy, cake floating on chocolate sauce.
