16 oz. pkg. Bowtie pasta
1 lb. asparagus cut into 2 in. pieces
1 c. Lemon vinaigrette dressing (store bought) balsamic vinaigrette, may be substituted
1 oz. pkg. fresh basil chopped
1 pt. cherry tomatoes, halved
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Cook pasta per package directions. When 2 minutes are left on cooking time, add asparagus. Drain and rinse under cool water. Mix 1 cup of dressing with basil. Pour ¾ c dressing over pasta. Stir in cherry tomatoes. Add salt & pepper to taste. Cover & chill 1 hour. Toss with remaining dressing before serving.
