11/2 cup of red wine
1 cup olive oil
3-4 cloves of garlic
2 Tablespoon Dried Rosemary; crushed or ~ cup Fresh rosemary if you have it.

Directions:
1. Cut slits in meaty portions of lamb and insert slivers of the garlic in the meat.
2.Combine remaining ingredients in sauce pan and heat just until boiling. Simmer for a few minutes and let cool to room temperature.
3. Put lamb in a zip lock bag or a large nonmetal bowl and pour marinade over the lamb. Marinate for at least 24 hours, turning every few hours.
4. Roast uncovered at 350 degrees until medium rare (140-100 degrees). Brushing often with left over .marinade
5. During the last hour, if you'd like, put peeled and quartered potatoes in the roasting pan. Turn to coat in the pan drippings. Turn the potatoes once or twice during roasting to brown and crisp on all sides.
6: Remove from pan to a platter and let stand a few minutes before slicing.
To Grill:
Cover roast with foil and cook at a low temperature for 2-3 hours until the internal temperature is 140 - 100 degrees. Take the foil off for the last hour to brown the roast.
