2 ½ c. sifted flour
1 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. red and green glace cherries
1 tsp. vanilla
½ c. crushed pecans
½ tsp. baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter and add slightly beaten egg and beat well. Sift flour and baking soda together. Add to batter and beat well. Add chopped cherries and pecans to mixture. Add vanilla. Form into a roll, wrap in was paper and chill until hard. When hard slice thinly with a sharp knife and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
