2 c. sugar
1 c. LARD
1 c. raisins
2 eggs
1 pint sour cream (add 1 tsp. soda)
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. flour (Sally said this was hard to read but thinks it says 4 c.)
2 tsp.baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Bake at 350º 10-12 minutes.
Mix together the sugar, lard & raisins and run through a food grinder. Then add eggs, sour cream with soda, vanilla, and mix. Combine the flour, salt, & baking powder & add to the rest. Refrigerate the dough for a couple hours or so. I think mom rolled them in balls & smashed down with a glass dipped in sugar.

I was looking at mom's cookie recipes that have been submitted, I kept thinking, I know she made more than we have. That's when this cookie popped into my head. I don't think mom has made these cookies since we lived on Staub Court, and possibly Grand Ave. They are really good!
