1 lb. hamburger
small onion, diced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
velveeta cheese (approximately a 1-2 inch chunk?)
2 cans green beans
frozen tator tots
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger with onion in a large casserole pan. Drain grease. Stir in soup and velveeta cut in small cubes. Cook over medium-low heat until cheese is melted. Add salt and pepper to taste. Fold in drained green beans. If it is too thick stir in a little milk. Top with a single layer of tator tots and bake at 375 degrees until the tator tots are browned.

Mom made this for us when we were little and I loved it. I was so excited when I found out they served it in the cafeteria at the U of Iowa. We all would rush down for tator tot casserole night! It is still my guilty pleasure.
