9 cups finely chopped rhubarb
7 cups sugar
2 packages strawberry (or raspberry) jello

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rhubarb and sugar in saucepan over medium heat until rhubarb is done (soft). Stir jello mixes into the rhubarb mixture until dissolved. Pour into jars and seal. When cool refrigerate.

I think grandma also froze this jam in margarine containers.
