1 Lg Reynolds Oven bag, 1/4 cup flour, 1 envelope onion soup mix, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 empty can water, 1 empty can red wine, 2 thick sliced onion, 1 bag peeled and sliced lengthwise carrots and parsnips, 6 peeled and quartered potatoes 2 stalks of celery cut in chunks.

Season the roast with s & p, brown well on all sides in oil. Put the flour in the plastic bag and shake. Add the 2 soups, water and wine. Mush contents of the bag to mix. Add browned pot roast and all vegetables. Tie the bag, and put it in a roaster in the oven for about 3 hours. You have amazing gravy here.

Zip thought this was a great recipe, probably the 1st time he saw a meal cooked in a bag. Brian made it for he and Grandma each time they came to visit. We still make it and enjoy with bread to sop up the gravy.
