1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
2 egg yolks (save whites)
2 teaspoons flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon clove
1 cup raisins
1 (8 or 9 inch) pie crust, baked

Meringue:
2 egg whites
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
For pie, combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat until thick, 5 to 7 minutes. Pour into baked pie shell. Use egg whites for meringue. For meringue, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until frothy. Add sugar gradually and beat until stiff. Pile on hot pie filling. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.

Grandma made this pie for uncle Cliff whenever he would come visit after Zip died. It was his favorite and he would ask her to make it and so grandma made it!

Not that she minded. Grandma liked this pie or any pie for that matter. She and I had this on several occasions together whenever I went over to her house. It didn't matter what time of day really breakfast, lunch or dinner.
