1/2 cup Butter
2 T Water
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
2 T molasses
1 1/2 Cups Roasted Peanuts
1 tsp Baking Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Boil butter and water for 2 minutes then stir in sugar and molasses and cook for 12 1/2 minutes stir constantly then add peanuts and baking soda and stir well. Pour candy on a well buttered cookie sheet and let completely cool. When it is hard break into pieces.12 servings prep time 15 min.

This recipe is from Mae Wheelan, her neighbor Mrs. Walto Berger used to bring the candy over to her on a cookie sheet and then drop it on the porch so it would break into pieces.
