2 c. flour
1-3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together, set aside. Cream shortening and sugar gradually. Add 1 egg at a time blending throughly after each. Add vanilla to this mixture. Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk, stirring only enough.

Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
