4 small bunches of celery (8 sticks)
1 tbs. onions chopped fine
1 bouillon cube
1/2 c. boiling water
3 tbs. butter or oleo
1/4 tsp. salt
7 grains pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut celery into four inch lengths. use top pieces for a salad. Melt 2 tbs. butter in sauce pan and cook onion until yellow. Dissolve bouillon cube in water. Add stocks to butter and onions. Add bouillon, salt and pepper.

Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Drain and add
1 tbs. butter. Serve hot. (don't throw water away)
