1 c. butter flavored shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
3 bananas, mashed
2 c. quick-cooking oats
1 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
2. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves. Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
3. Stir in the bananas, oats and chocolate chips.
4. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
5. Bake at 375º for 10-12 mins. Immediately move to wire racks to cool
