1 cup Quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup All-purpose flour
1/2 cup Light brown sugar
1/2 cup Chopped walnuts
1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter or margarine, melted and divided
1/4 tsp Baking soda
1 14 oz can Sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp Vanilla extract
2 cups Semi-sweet Chocolate chips
Additional chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, walnuts, 6 tbsp butter, and baking soda. Press firmly on bottom of prepared pan. Bake 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Meanwhile, in medium saucepan over medium heat, combine remaining 2 tbsp butter and condensed milk. Cook and stir until mixture thickens slightly, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Pour evenly over baked crust. Bake 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand 1 minute;spread chocolate chips while still warm. Garnish with additional walnuts (optional); press down firmly. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
