1 onion, chopped
Potatoes, peeled and cubed
(5 or 6, depending on size and amount of soup wanted)
1 can New England Clam Chowder
1 can baby clams, DO NOT DRAIN

Directions:
Directions:
Saute' onions in a small amount of oil. Add potatoes and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Boil for about 5 minutes and then add clams and New England Clam Chowder. Simmer until potatoes are cooked. Salt and pepper, to taste.

Hint: 'Down East,' they always add dumplings. If you want to add dumplings, pinch off pieces of one can of biscuits and drop into the chowder as it boils.
