1 cup butter
1 box light brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 cups plain flour sifted
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
1 cup of chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Heat brown sugar and butter on low heat. Remove from heat and add other ingredients in order. Put in two 8 inch square pans that have been greased and floured.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 300º. Cut and roll in powdered sugar while still hot.
