2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
3 tbsp butter
5 tbsp sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
3 cups flour
1 tbsp yeast

Directions:
Directions:
Put all dough ingredients in bread machine pan. Set for white or sweet bread, dough stage. Press start.

When dough is ready, take out and punch down. Cut into three equal pieces. Let it rest 5 minutes. Butter a baking sheet. Roll each piece into a rope, about 20 inches. Braid the ropes, tucking ends under. Cover dough and put in a warm place to rise until doubled.

Bake bread in preheated 350 º oven until golden, about 20 minutes. Brush with milk.
