2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
8 T. butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine cake mix, egg and melted butter and mix well with a mixer. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13 x 9 pan. Prepare filling.

In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla and butter and beat. Next, add the powdered sugar and mix well. Spread filling evenly over the cake batter and bake for 35-45 minutes. Center should still be a little gooey when done.

Variations:

Double Chocolate: Use a chocolate cake mix instead of yellow. Add 3-4 T of cocoa powder to filling. Can also stir 1 c. of chopped nuts into filling if desired. Can sprinkle cake with powdered sugar after it’s baked.

Pineapple: Add a drained 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple to filling.

Banana: Add 2 mashed ripe bananas to filling.

Pumpkin: Add 1 – 15 oz. can of pumpkin, 1 t. cinnamon, 1 t. nutmeg to filling and use 3 eggs instead of 2 in filling. Make sure you beat the cream cheese and pumpkin together first. Serve with whipped cream.

Peanut Butter: Use a chocolate cake mix instead of yellow. Add 1 c. of creamy peanut butter to the cream cheese.
